Dennis Weaver, MD, MBA, Joins Pearl Health as Chief Clinical Officer

Pearl Health, a leading provider of physician enablement and risk management technology and services, today announced the addition of a strategic clinical leader to its management team. Dennis Weaver, MD, MBA, has joined as Pearl Health’s Chief Clinical Officer, bringing more than 30 years of experience as a clinical and business leader across provider, payer, and consulting settings.

Pearl Health enables primary care providers and organizations to deliver more proactive, whole-patient care through data insights, financial tools, practice enablement technology, and a broad range of value-based care services. Pearl partners with health systems, IPAs, CINs, MSOs, and other organizations to identify the right value-based models for their providers and patient panels, manage high-risk patients and conditions, and improve financial and quality performance.

Prior to joining Pearl, Dr. Weaver was Director and Value-Based Care Leader at Chartis, a comprehensive healthcare advisory firm, where he helped providers, payers, health systems, and technology companies solve complex care problems and lead new product innovations. Before Chartis, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer at Oscar Health, where he led market expansion and value-based care model innovation with national organizations. He is an experienced board member, recently serving on the Board of Directors of Central Logic, a developer of software solutions for real-time health data sharing.

Dr. Weaver received his MD from the University of Iowa, after attending the United States Air Force Academy. He is a board-certified obstetrician gynecologist, and served as a physician in various clinical and leadership roles in Air Force and Department of Defense health centers. He received his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
