Prior to joining Pearl, Sujai co-founded NeoHealth, a startup focused on developing pharmacy management software for healthcare workers in sub-Saharan Africa. NeoHealth has won numerous grants and awards including 3rd place at the Michigan Business Challenge and 1st place at the China Business Challenge. Sujai also started a student organization called MedLaunch which designs assistive technology for individuals with disabilities. MedLaunch has expanded to two colleges and created 10+ technologies to assist various community partners. Sujai is passionate about combining his experience in entrepreneurship, marketing, and design in order to address inefficiencies in the healthcare system. He received his degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan.

Abigail Bergkamp is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner whose work focuses on clinical quality, patient safety, and care delivery. She has led interdisciplinary initiatives that streamline processes, enhance reliability, and drive better patient outcomes.
Before joining Pearl Health, Abigail advanced quality improvement and safety efforts at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, where she practiced as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner across acute and ambulatory settings. Earlier in her career, she provided mental health care at Michigan Medicine and led simulation-based training and clinical seminars at DePaul University. Her work has included creating standardized practices, translating clinical insights into actionable improvements, and mentoring clinicians in best practices.
She earned her BSN and MSN from the University of Michigan and her Master of Healthcare Administration from Northwestern University. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the Bay Area, reading, and playing tennis.

Amy brings over 17 years of healthcare experience, spanning direct patient care in post-acute settings to supporting health systems in value-based care initiatives. Prior to joining Pearl, she worked with Signify Health, CVS Health and Wellvana, most recently supporting the launch of hospital engagement in ACO initiatives. She has partnered with healthcare organizations across the care continuum to collaborate, strategize and optimize workflows, and is passionate about strengthening healthcare delivery and improving the patient journey.
Amy is a licensed practical nurse and holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management with a focus in Healthcare Administration. In her downtime, she enjoys cheering at her son’s football games, binge-watching shows with her daughter and going for walks with her husband and mini Aussie, Nova.

Customer Success
Prior to joining Pearl Health, Manuel has led efforts in Customer Success to drive digital adoption in healthcare. At Phreesia, he was one of the Customer Success leaders, focused on provider adoption and growth while simultaneously helping support projects around process improvements, integration of new products, clinical efficiencies (Quality measures, ACO relations), and large partnerships. Before that at Counsyl (later acquired by Myriad), he built out a team that supported prenatal and cancer genetic testing workflows. This team had a focus on driving operational efficiencies for partners to reduce administrative burden, boost reimbursement, and better identify patients for testing.
Manuel earned a B.S degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from UC Davis. In his free time, you’ll find him around San Francisco with his wife and golden retriever exploring parks, restaurants, and coffee shops.

Julie previously worked in customer success at Komodo Health, where she helped grow the team and create organization-wide best practices that deliver consistent white glove support to medical and clinical development teams, as well as patient advocacy organizations. Julie also worked at Zitter Health Insights doing IDN research and has supported patients directly as a home health aide.
She earned a Master’s in Health Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Biology from Cornell University. Julie lives on a vegetable farm in upstate New York, where she enjoys reading and going for hikes in The Gunks with her border collie.

Prior to Pearl, Sam led customer success at Eleos, a behavioral health startup leveraging AI and large language models to reduce administrative burden for clinicians and improve care delivery.With over a decade of experience in healthcare technology and SaaS, Sam has helped clients achieve stronger outcomes, adopt technology more effectively, and build long-term value from their partnerships. She’s passionate about combining strategy, operations, and human connection to ensure clients feel supported, heard, and empowered—always striving to elevate the customer experience and drive meaningful outcomes.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys traveling and exploring local food spots with her partner and son.

Prior to joining Pearl, Colin spent over five years at athenahealth, where he built and led the Customer Success Strategy and Analytics function. Most recently, he built and scaled the Customer Success function at Collective Medical, which was acquired by PointClickCare.He is passionate about enabling independent physician practices with the right tools and workflows to remain financially viable in a shifting reimbursement landscape. He also deeply values improving patient outcomes through the transition to proactive care delivery models and regular care collaboration. At athenahealth, he developed the standard framework used to articulate their customer practices’ financial and clinical performance, along with identifying specific opportunities to drive further improvement. At Collective Medical, his function fostered robust care collaboration, helping health systems, payers, and community-based providers bend utilization and cost curves.
He holds a B.S. in Finance and History from Endicott College.

Abby's years in the healthcare industry have been focused on improving value-based care performance and patient/employee experience. She has a passion for making connections, working collaboratively, and staying curious. As a leader at Humana, she partnered with providers to drive success within their value-based care arrangements. From there, she led company wide initiatives to scale effective provider engagement.
At Qualtrics, she was a senior Customer Success leader on the Healthcare Provider Team. She supported hospitals' patient and employee experience leaders in delivering insights that shaped executive decision-making. With expertise in both healthcare operations and customer success, Abby combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to improve outcomes and performance.
Outside of work, you’ll find her with her dog, exploring Chicago, or traveling with friends/family.

Kylee is an Associate of Customer Success at Pearl Health. Prior to joining the Pearl team, she worked in operations at Verse Medical, a health-tech start up focused on DME accessibility, and healthcare administration at Columbia University Fertility Center. She uses her experience working in the different sides of healthcare while pursuing her passion for improving patient outcomes and provider support.
Kylee earned a Bachelor’s in Biology from Smith College. In her spare time, she can be found running in Central Park, singing at karaoke, and perfecting her technique in French pastry.

Prior to joining our team, Zane was Customer Success Operations Manager at Komodo Health, where she supported a CS team of 85, managed renewal analytics and workstreams, and served as co-chair for the women’s affinity group. She has also worked for New York Genome Center, Remedy Partners and Roivant Sciences.
Zane holds an A.B. in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University and an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business, where she was president of the Strategy and Operations Club. Outside of work, you can find her training and teaching on the flying trapeze in New York City.

Customer Success
Before joining Pearl, Yuxin held various data science positions. At Wayfair, she built end-to-end machine learning solutions for operations, storefronts, and sales enablement teams. Additionally, she developed measurement and data science frameworks, along with playbooks, to ensure scientific rigor and facilitate the wider adoption of data science practices. Prior to Wayfair, Yuxin worked as a data scientist at AAA on risk modeling and as a research scientist at Vanguard. At Vanguard, she leveraged NLP and recommender systems to improve the efficiency of financial advisors and employed inverse optimization to understand risk tolerance based on portfolio data.
Yuxin holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Northwestern University, where she built physics-based models to study critical transitions in climate systems, such as Arctic sea ice loss and desertification in drylands. Yuxin holds a BSc in Mathematics from Dalhousie University in Canada, where her interests in applied science were sparked.

Data Science & Analytics
Prior to his role at Pearl, Will held positions at Wayfair, first as a product manager and later as an analytics manager. In these roles, he focused on building and scaling forecasting models utilized in pricing and product recommendations engines. Before pursuing his MBA/MSDS, Will gained experience in Customer Success, where he specialized in developing custom software solutions for clients at Eze Software, a FinTech company.
Will holds an M.B.A. from the UVA Darden School of Business, a Master's in Data Science from UVA, and a B.A. in Mathematics from Colgate University.

Data Science & Analytics
Before joining Pearl, Kara worked alongside the United States Department of Veterans Affairs to pilot value-based healthcare solutions and apply machine learning to questions about benefits processing and healthcare utilization. She worked with stakeholders at national, regional, and hospital levels to ensure that modeling tools were rigorous, accurate, interpretable, and ethical. As a trusted partner to her government colleagues, she helped develop data science and modeling standard operating procedures and documentation guidelines in addition to ad-hoc models and reports.
Kara holds a PhD in Organismal and Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University, where she drew on techniques from multiple fields including robotics, fluid dynamics, and phylogenetics to understand how anatomical variation contributes to locomotor effectiveness. She held postdoctoral appointments at the University of Michigan and the University of Chicago before leaving academia, and received her BA in Biological Sciences from Wellesley College.

Data Science & Analytics
Wren is an analytics professional with more than a decade of experience in healthcare analytics. Prior to joining Pearl, she led analyst teams in a variety of settings including provider, payer and startup environments. Most recently at Devoted Health, Wren was responsible for self-service reporting supporting the core operations of the business, including claims, utilization management, and compliance. She started her career as a biostatistician at Seattle Children’s Hospital and holds a special interest in healthcare quality and safety.
Wren received an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Washington and a BA in Public Health Studies from Johns Hopkins University. She spends her time outside of work camping, skiing, and generally enjoying the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.

Data Science & Analytics
Before joining Pearl, he spent his early years working on marketing campaign optimization at what is now Porch, a home services software company. Following his tenure at Porch, Noam played a pivotal role in driving pricing and go-to-market initiatives that aimed to bring scale and analytical rigor to the merchant contract pipelines in the consumer financing space at Progressive Leasing. He hopes to build on these experiences to help Pearl extend its capabilities.
Noam, born in Arizona, now resides in Saint Petersburg, Florida where he lives in fear of his loving cat. Outside of work, he follows college sports, plays pickleball and does other stereotypical Florida activities.
He is a proud alumnus of the University of South Florida where he received his Bachelors in Statistics.

Data Science & Analytics
Emily built her early career and foundation in analytics through embedded and consulting roles across the traditional healthcare landscape, supporting ACOs, city health systems, and rural clinics in advancing value-based care. More recently, she led analytics at Hint Health, where she developed core data systems and industry reports that brought visibility to the emerging Direct Primary Care movement.
Emily holds an MS in Business Analytics and undergraduate degrees in business administration and psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Francis joins Pearl Health as a seasoned data science leader with over 15 years of experience, leadership, and strategic business impact across healthcare and other industries. Prior to Pearl, he led the data science team at Hospital IQ to develop a suite of products that contributed to 300% customer growth and an acquisition by LeanTaaS.
When not staring at a screen, Francis enjoys martial arts, playing musical instruments of various kinds, and reading with a cat on his lap.
Francis has a B.Sc. in Physics & Mathematics and an M.Sc. in Astrophysics from the National University of Ireland, Cork, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). His doctoral research focused on the discovery of planets outside our solar system, and he continued this work as a N.A.S.A. Postdoctoral Fellow at the Goddard Space Flight Center. Francis holds two patents for innovative machine learning applications in healthcare.

Data Science & Analytics
Prior to joining Pearl, Nellie worked at Ankura Consulting where she performed data analytics on large healthcare claims and financial datasets for class action lawsuits. She also worked as a research assistant in the Onnela Lab at Harvard where she worked with smartphone data for biomedical research and oversaw collaboration with clinical research teams.
Nellie holds a BS in Applied Mathematics from University of California, Los Angeles and a MS in Health Data Science from Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health.

Data Science & Analytics
Prior to joining Pearl, Allison was a Senior Associate Strategy Specialist at J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management where she performed macroeconomic research and data analysis to drive investment insights for clients and the firm’s leadership team. Allison also works as a data analytics consultant for Gotham FC, where she helps the team make data-driven tactical and financial decisions.
Allison holds a BA in Statistics with a focus in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from Harvard College.

Danny Wudka is a Senior Manager of Data Science at Pearl Health with over a decade of experience in healthcare analytics in building clinical products, improving decisions, and optimizing operations. Prior to joining Pearl, he helped scale and improve care delivery at Carbon Health.
Danny holds a BS in Neuroscience from University of California, Los Angeles and a Masters in Information and Data Science from University of California, Berkeley.

Data Science & Analytics
Before joining Pearl, Jillian was responsible for supporting and scaling data analytics and reporting for Invitae’s biopharma partnerships. Prior to Invitae, Jillian was at GSK in the Technology Future Leaders Program, and had a variety of rotations spanning R&D data science collaborations, digital marketing, and commercial operations.
Jillian received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University. Outside of the office, you’ll find her hiking the Bay Area trails or training for her next marathon.

Data Science & Analytics
Justin was previously the Director of Finance & Business Intelligence at Bonfire, a marketplace and fundraising platform that allows individuals and nonprofits to raise funds for their respective causes and communities. He was responsible for building and managing the accounting, finance and data teams and functions from the ground up. Prior to Bonfire, he worked as a management consultant at HealthScape Advisors, supporting clients on product strategy, business model transformation and adoption of value-based care models. Justin began his career at Deloitte, where he earned his CPA license.
Justin received his B.S. in Accounting from The Ohio State University.

Finance
Garrett previously worked in healthcare investment banking as a Vice President at Cain Brothers, where he advised health systems and physician groups through a variety of M&A transactions and strategic initiatives. Prior to investment banking, Garrett was a Manager of ambulatory care business operations at NYU Langone Health, where he focused on the expansion and development of the system’s single and multispecialty physician group network.
Garrett earned a BS from Skidmore College where he studied business and economics.

Finance
Before joining Pearl Health, Wes was Associate Director of Contract Operations at Phreesia, where he built and led a new team focused on enhancing efficiency and accuracy in the Order-to-Cash cycle. Prior to Phreesia, Wes was the Revenue Accounting Manager at Expel, where he managed the full Order-to-Cash accounting function.
He holds Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting & Computer Information Systems and Business Management from Virginia Tech, and has an active CPA license in Florida.

Finance
Ali Miah is an actuarial professional with experience in healthcare and financial analytics having previously worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. He has supported projects in forecasting, risk modeling, and claims analysis, applying strong quantitative and problem-solving skills to help organizations make informed decisions in complex environments.
With a solid foundation in actuarial science and expertise in reporting, financial projections, and trend analysis, Ali is passionate about using data-driven approaches to improve efficiency, accuracy, and outcomes for stakeholders.
Ali holds a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Mathematics and a Minor in Computer Science from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Finance
Prior to joining Pearl Health, Li led the Medicare Advantage (MA) Actuarial team at Oscar Health as its founding team lead, helping to stand up the capabilities of the MA actuarial team such as bid development, valuation, forecasting and strategic initiatives. Prior to Oscar, Li was an early employee at Clover Health, where he developed the internal SQL/Python based MA pricing model and came to own many aspects of MA pricing. He began his career with Cigna, and graduated from the Actuarial Executive Development Program.
Li holds a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics with honors, summa cum laude from Hamilton College.
